Being Perfect

"I may not always be perfect, but I’m always me."

We are always trying to be something or someone. Usually something alien.
It is impossible to be happy if we are trying to be something which we are not.
To be happy the person outside has to one with the person inside.
Who is the person inside? Who is this real being?
Unfortunately we rarely come to know
Some of us live our whole life without ever knowing. If one looks closely we observe that we have gathered not an individual but a crowd in our minds. The cacophony consists of facets of what we think we are, and facets of what others tell us about ourselves, what we are rather than who we are, all so confusing and frustrating.
Then we are trying to fit ourselves into being normal.
Who is normal? Each one of is unique and we are anything but normal. But normal we must try to be, tormenting ourselves and others around us.
My best friend is me, myself. So I talk to myself which is easier when there is silence.
Its impossible to have a conversation with yourself if there is so much noise, and if there are so many simultaneous conversations taking place. Some are active conversations when people speak with us, often demanding replies. Sometimes passive conversations which intrude such as colleagues, friends, phone calls, messages, television, and various other noise polluters.
We spend so much time with others trying to woo them and to convince them on who we are without really knowing who we really are.
At first the conversation with oneself is frightening. What we discover is usually ugly and filled with guilt, abnormality etc. We judge ourselves by a scale and parameters given by others. If we look deeper within we recognise our flaws we will be able to forgive ourselves and make corrections. If we go still deeper we find that each one of us is unique, hence imperfect, but then, what difference does it make?
In fact we are all born spiritually divine, we only have to discover and realise our divinity
